The International Association of Empirical Aesthetics (IAEA) is a psychological organization founded to investigate the nature of aesthetic experience, and aesthetic behavior uning scientific methods. Membership includes psychologists, sociologists, musicologists, philosophers, and other researchers in over 20 countries. The association was founded in 1965 by Daniel Berlyne, Robert Francés, and Carmelo Genovese, Albert Wellek.
